Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Effective: [publication date]

We do not sell your personal information

Caron Communications, LLC does not sell personal information, and we have not sold personal information in the past 12 months. We also do not share personal information with third parties for targeted advertising (ads shown to you on other websites based on your activity on ours). Our site uses only Wix's built-in analytics and has no advertising or remarketing tags.

We provide this page so you know your rights and can easily use them, now or if our practices ever change. We would update our Privacy Policy and this page before any change took effect.

What "sale" and "sharing" mean

Under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act and similar state laws, a "sale" is broader than trading data for money. It can include giving personal information to another company for anything of value. "Targeted advertising" (sometimes called "sharing" or cross-context behavioral advertising) means using information about your activity across websites to show you ads. We don't do either.

Your right to opt out

You have the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information, of targeted advertising and of profiling that produces legal or similarly significant decisions. Because we don't sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, there is currently nothing to opt out of, and you don't need to take any action, change your cookie settings or turn on a browser signal to be covered.

You can still submit an opt-out request at any time. We will record your choice and apply it to any records we hold.

How to submit a request

•  Email: matt@caroncommunications.com, with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share Request"

•  Contact form: submit our Contact & Consultation form and write "Do Not Sell or Share Request" in the description

•  Phone: 860.800.2023

Include your name and the email address or phone number you've used with us, so we can apply your choice to any records we hold. You can also block or delete cookies, including analytics cookies, in your browser settings at any time.

Verification and response time

Opt-out requests don't require identity verification. We may ask for a few details only to find your records or to confirm a request we believe may be fraudulent. We act on opt-out requests as soon as possible and within 45 days of receiving them, which is the standard response period under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act. For other privacy requests (access, correction, deletion or portability), we verify your identity first. If more time is reasonably needed, we may extend once by up to 45 additional days and will let you know.

Authorized agents

You can designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request for you. For other requests, we may ask the agent to provide proof of your signed permission and may ask you to confirm your identity directly with us.

If we decline your request

If we decline a request, you can appeal by emailing matt@caroncommunications.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will respond within 60 days. If your appeal is denied and you live in Connecticut, you can contact the Connecticut Attorney General.

No discrimination

We will never deny you service, charge you a different price or give you a lower level of service for exercising your privacy rights.
