By using the site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Information Only: No Client Relationship

The site provides general information about Caron Communications, our services and our team. Visiting the site, reading our content, submitting our contact form, or emailing or calling us does not create a client relationship or any other professional relationship with Caron Communications.

A client relationship begins only when you and Caron Communications sign a written engagement agreement. That agreement, not these Terms, governs any services we provide.

Caron Communications is a media and public relations firm, not a law firm. Nothing on the site is legal advice, and using the site does not create an attorney-client relationship with anyone.

Our Content and Intellectual Property

The content on the site belongs to Caron Communications and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. That includes text, graphics, photos, videos, page design, and the Caron Communications name and logo. Some materials, such as news clips, client logos or third-party images, belong to their respective owners.

You're welcome to view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use and to share links to our pages. Otherwise, please don't copy, republish, modify, distribute or use our content commercially without our written permission. To ask for permission, email matt@caroncommunications.com.

Acceptable Use

When you use the site, you agree not to:

Contact Form Submissions

When you use our Contact & Consultation form, upload files, or otherwise send us information, you confirm that the information is accurate and that you have the right to share it, including any files you upload. Please don't include sensitive personal information unless it's needed for your request.

Sending us a request doesn't obligate us to take on a project, and it doesn't obligate you to hire us. We handle the personal information you send us as described in our Privacy Policy.

Links to Other Websites

The site may link to websites and platforms we don't control, such as our social media profiles or news outlets featured in our Insights. We provide these links for convenience. We aren't responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of other sites, and a link doesn't mean we endorse them. Your use of other sites is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Caron Communications and its owners, employees and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your misuse of the site, the content you submit, or your violation of these Terms or anyone else's rights.

Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the site will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Hartford County, Connecticut, and you agree to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Other Details

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a provision right away, we haven't waived it. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Caron Communications about using the site. A written engagement agreement governs any client work.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date at the top of this page. Changes apply once they're posted. If you keep using the site after that, you accept the updated Terms.
