When I started Caron Communications in February 2025, I wasn't thinking about lists. I was thinking about the people I'd spent two decades covering as a reporter: school leaders, nonprofits, and businesses who had something important to say and needed it heard clearly, especially when the pressure was on.

So it means a lot to share that PressFeatured has named Caron Communications #8 on its list of the 20 Best PR Firms and Agencies in Connecticut.

PressFeatured weighed firms on their Connecticut presence, PR as a core capability, reputation and recognition, breadth of services, industry diversity, and track record. In its write-up, it described us as a full-service PR and communications agency, founded by a former journalist, that "emphasizes strategic storytelling and trusted relationships, helping clients craft and amplify messages and respond effectively when visibility or reputational issues arise."

That's exactly what we set out to do.

We're less than two years in. We're locally owned, we're right here in Wethersfield, and every bit of our work is done 100% in-house. No subcontractors, no hand-offs. When a client calls at 10 p.m. with a problem, they get us.

I spent my career on the other side of the camera, as an anchor, chief investigator, and political reporter. I know what makes a story land, and I know what happens when a message isn't ready for the spotlight. That experience is what we bring to every client, every day.
